"The John Muir College Council shall oversee and seek to improve all aspects of college life, both academic and social, as they significantly affect the Muir College Student Body." -Muir College Council Constitution
Muir
College Council is John Muir College's student government. The purpose
of Muir College Council, or MCC as we like to call it, includes developing
policies and procedure, allocating funds to other Muir organizations,
and appointing representation of Muir students. MCC consists of elected
and appointed representatives from all different types of Muir students
for both internal and external positions.
If you are interested in student government and being involved in the issues of UCSD and Muir you should definitely check out MCC.
Interested in how student government works at UC San Diego? Want to voice your opinion on the issues that confront Muir this year? Then come out to Coffee with MCC, every Thursday at 5 PM at Muir Woods and hang out with your Muir College Council representatives!!
